Once again it’s on!! And one unlucky contestant walks home, or more or less does the running man home!
Kiana you are gorgeous, and should for sure have your own show, but just not in fashion. It is sad to see you go, as you really did bring some fun to a significant challenge, and like Kate did uber great for getting on the show in the first place. Even tho you did seem pretty happy to be leaving, I hope the experience was worth it for you.
Alright! I really enjoyed this episode, working as a team is one of my fav. The organisers couldn’t of picked a better pair, as Zowie, and Qiulae together, and Kerry and Trish. Although I would of liked to see Trish and Qiulae work together, I think they’re very similar, and would be very competitive… makes for a good show! 
This weeks brief was to create a garment based on a sport, and work as a team.
Now as I always do, I’m picking my 2 favs. Zowie an Qiulae, not because they work really well together, and had very similar brain patterns. But because they had a great looking pair of outfits, despite what the judges said, something about them not matching? I thought they looked great together, and if any 2 girls were out wearing those garment side by side, they would be the bells of the ball. People would stop and stare for a moment.. Oh hang on that’s a song I think? Oh well! you get my point.
Zowies garment was in line with the layering ruffle trend that’s still empowering the world. She made a lemon yellow short tennis dress with a cute shinning satin waistcoat jacket. I really like how the ruffle crosses between the breast.
Qiulae’s is actually my favorite, I would love this in my wardrobe. It’s sexy, perfectly fits the brief, a great way to incorporate shorts into a garment, and I love shorts, beautiful complimentary colors. You can’t actually see from this picture, but under the bright yellow top Qiulae has added a kinda like sports bar Lycra mesh fabric, that is used alot in sports clothes, to show through the sides as the yellow top drapes lower to reveal detail. Also the facing of the pocket is lined with the same mesh fabric, and just looks absolutely awesome.
I’m a sucker for fine simple details, and if she keeps pulling out garments like this, she’ll get my vote every week!
